A Bit About Me

Melissa Schmidt of Jefferson State Realty brings more than eight years of real estate experience across two states, along with a deep passion for helping people find the right place to call home.

Raised in Sonoma, California, Melissa spent her college years exploring different parts of the state, from Chico to Los Angeles to San Diego, before eventually settling down with her husband. After college, the couple moved to North Carolina to be closer to family, where they welcomed their three daughters, now ages 15, 13, and 11. Their time there allowed their children to spend meaningful years with their great-grandmother, creating memories that remain deeply cherished

Five years ago, Melissa and her family returned to Northern California and made their home in beautiful Siskiyou County. They have since embraced the region’s outdoor lifestyle and the natural beauty that makes the area so special.

Melissa’s passion for both real estate and helping others naturally led her to a career where she can do both every day. Whether assisting first-time buyers, families relocating to the area, or clients looking to sell their homes, she is dedicated to making each transaction smooth, positive, and rewarding.
